• Traditional Room (8 tatami mats, 1-4 guests) - The classic Japanese-style room on the first or second floor, with a hiroen terrace for taking in the ryokan's scenery, plus bathroom and restroom.

• Traditional Superior Room (6 and 10 tatami mats, 1-6 guests) - A two-room Japanese suite whose hiroen terrace looks onto the central garden of ancient pines, moss-covered rocks and koi ponds, with some rooms opening directly onto the garden.

• Western & Japanese Room (8 tatami mats plus a 6-tatami bedroom, 1-6 guests) - A hybrid room pairing a tatami guest area with two Western beds and an ensuite shigaraki-ware or hinoki cypress tub, looking over the main garden.

• Hatsune Room (1-4 guests) - A Japanese-style room with its own private open-air bath.

• Asuka Room (10 tatami mats, 1-4 guests) - A ten-mat room with a private outdoor bath attached.

• Sakura Room (10 tatami mats, 1-4 guests) - A ten-mat room with a private outdoor bath, named for the cherry blossom.

• Yamabuki Room (9 tatami mats with twin beds, 1-6 guests) - The universally accessible room, combining a tatami guest area with Western twin beds.

• Matsu Suite Room (10 tatami mats plus an 8-tatami living room, 1-6 guests) - A second-floor shoin-style suite long beloved by artists and scholars, with two terraces and a large cedar bathtub, giving sweeping views of the Honkan garden.

• Botan Suite Room (10 tatami mats plus an 8-tatami twin bedroom, 1-6 guests) - A second-floor suite with a decorative alcove built round a Japanese red pine pillar and a private semi open-air bath of towada stone and cypress, opening to a bench terrace over the garden.

• Kumoi Suite Room (12 tatami mats, 1-6 guests) - A twelve-mat suite with a private open-air bath and mountain views.

• Honjin Suite Room (approx. 124 sqm, 1-6 guests) - The ryokan's largest room - a 15-mat guest room with a separate 6-mat sleeping room, its own private dining room and a hinoki open-air bath, looking to the Japanese garden and the mountainside.

• Ginsen Suite Room (12 tatami mats plus a 7.5-tatami bedroom, approx. 31.5 sqm, 1-6 guests) - A Hiratakan Annex suite pairing a tatami room with a Western bedroom of two semi-double beds and a cypress-wood bath, overlooking the annex rock garden and its maples.

• Horai Suite Room (12 and 6 tatami mats plus living room, 1-6 guests) - A second-floor Hiratakan Annex suite by sukiya master Masaya Hirata, with an open-air bath and views over the Hiratakan garden to a forested mountain.

• Kangetsu Suite Room (16 tatami mats, approx. 26 sqm, 1-6 guests) - A Hiratakan Annex terrace room with patterned transoms, large shoji walls and a private shigaraki-porcelain open-air bath over an artistic courtyard garden.
