Day 1Arusha - Elewana Arusha Coffee Lodge
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to Elewana Arusha Coffee Lodge, set on a working coffee plantation at the foot of Mount Meru. Settle into your spacious suite and enjoy a relaxed afternoon surrounded by lush gardens and views over the surrounding countryside. Dinner is at the lodge as you prepare for the overland safari ahead.
Days 2 and 3Lake Manyara National Park - &Beyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge
Depart Arusha by private 4x4 safari vehicle on a scenic drive to Lake Manyara National Park, and settle into &Beyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge, hidden within the forest canopy beneath ancient mahogany trees. Explore the park on guided game drives in search of tree-climbing lions, elephant and an exceptional variety of birdlife, with a picnic lunch in a scenic setting. Choose between a night game drive or a guided bicycle ride, and spend the evenings dining beneath the stars amid the sounds of the forest.
Days 4 and 5Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Entamanu Ngorongoro
Continue overland into the Ngorongoro highlands to Entamanu Ngorongoro, dramatically positioned on the rim of the Crater. Enjoy two guided descents onto the Ngorongoro Crater floor, home to one of the highest densities of wildlife in Africa, looking for black rhino, large elephant bulls, big-maned lions and vast herds of plains game. Return to the lodge each evening to watch the sun set over this extraordinary natural amphitheatre.
Days 6 and 7Serengeti Western Corridor - &Beyond Grumeti Serengeti River Lodge
Travel overland into the Serengeti, following ancient wildlife corridors into the Western Corridor, and arrive at &Beyond Grumeti Serengeti River Lodge overlooking the Grumeti River, renowned for its resident hippo pods and seasonal river crossings. Guided game drives and riverside wildlife viewing take you into less-visited parts of the Serengeti. Relax at the lodge between activities, soaking up the atmosphere of this remote wilderness.
Days 8 and 9Serengeti National Park - &Beyond Serengeti Under Canvas
Continue across the Serengeti plains to &Beyond Serengeti Under Canvas, an intimate tented camp that moves with the seasons. Spend two days exploring the open plains on expertly guided game drives, with opportunities to witness the Great Migration when in season. Evenings bring private, lantern-lit dinners and the romance of sleeping beneath canvas, surrounded by the sounds of the African night.
Day 10Departure
After a final morning in the Serengeti, transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Kilimanjaro International Airport. Depart Tanzania with memories of a privately guided safari through some of Africa's most iconic landscapes.
